Description | The City of South Jordan seeks proposals from experienced and qualified contractors and carpet installers to remove and replace the carpet for all 36 holes of Mulligans two 18-hole miniature golf courses. 1. Removal: The contractor will be responsible for removing current carpet, off-site disposal of the current carpet and debris, preparing the subsurface areas which includes, but is not limited to removing/sanding/buffing the old glue and rough areas, power washing the subsurface if needed, and filling in, sanding, and smoothing cracks or defects that would undermine the quality of the course or the long-term durability of the carpet. Each hole will need to be inspected by the golf course manager or a city staff member before and after the carpet is laid. 2. Replacement: Replace each hole with designated carpets using the design layout provided. (Contractor may propose other brands with carpet/turf specifications equal to the specifications uploaded as part of this RFP.) Debris and material must be thoroughly cleaned up at the completion of each phase. 4. The contractor must complete the scope of work within 45 days from Notice to Proceed. 5. The contractor must adapt the replacement schedule to allow all 36 holes of the course to be open on weekend days, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Project schedule requires two separate phases; the completion of one 18-hole course (removed, prepared, replaced, and playable) prior to the commencement of the other 18-hole course. 6. Proposals for this work shall include the best warranty on the carpet product that is available, and the contractor must warranty the application and workmanship for at least one year. 7.
