Richland County Public Safety Center

The Richland County Public Safety Center will comprise of the interior demolition of the existing 7201 Two Notch Road (Parcel R17001-04-42). The first floor will be renovated into approximately 42,500 sqft of a new consolidated Richland County 911 Center and approximately 14,500 sqft new PPP area. The second floor will be prepped for the new Richland County Forensics Lab. The mechanical penthouse will be renovated into the radio tower server room. Renovation of the existing +/- 57,957 Gross SF first floor of the 2-Story building owned by Richland Co. attached to the Columbia Place Mall. The renovated areas at the first floor will house a 911 Call Center (44,568 GSF) and Parole/Pardon/Probation Offices (13,389 GSF). The two programspaces will have their own entrances and be separated by 2-Hr Fire rated construction. The renovation will include work to establish a 3-Hr Fire Barrier between the County-owned building and the existing Mall. 2. 3.
