Description | The Richland County Public Safety Center will comprise of the interior demolition of the existing 7201 Two Notch Road (Parcel R17001-04-42). The first floor will be renovated into approximately 42,500 sqft of a new consolidated Richland County 911 Center and approximately 14,500 sqft new PPP area. The second floor will be prepped for the new Richland County Forensics Lab. The mechanical penthouse will be renovated into the radio tower server room. This project includes but is not limited to the following scopes of work: - Exterior Improvements -Concrete - Masonry - Structural framing - Roofing - P.E.M.B. - Interior drywall -Door frames - Doors/Hardware - Storefronts - Casework - Operable Partitions - Flooring - Landscaping - Painting - Acoustical ceilings - Specialties - Fire suppression - Plumbing - Mechanical -Electrical - Fire alarm RFIs are to be submitted electronically to M.B. Kahn by May 9th, 2023. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Renovation of the existing +/- 57,957 Gross SF first floor of the 2-Story building owned by Richland Co. attached to the Columbia Place Mall. The renovated areas at the first floor will house a 911 Call Center (44,568 GSF) and Parole/Pardon/Probation Offices (13,389 GSF). The two programspaces will have their own entrances and be separated by 2-Hr Fire rated construction. The renovation will include work to establish a 3-Hr Fire Barrier between the County-owned building and the existing Mall. 2. 3. Work includes, but is not limited to, site reparations and secure parking/access control, landscaping/ hardscaping, storm drainage, waste water system and utilities, structural steel, metalstud wallsystems, low slope roofing, exterior demolition/enhancements at entry canopies, protected Mechanical/Electrical equipment yard, screen walls, interior and exterior finishes, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, exterior |
