Description | Vegetation control on Jones and Oyster Creeks in Ft. Bend County. Aquatic Herbicides as well as approved Aquatic Surfactants as needed (approved for potable water and irrigation with no withdrawal) for controlling nuisance aquatic vegetation on, in, or around Jones and Oyster creeks, including Cleveland Lake, from the Shannon Pump Station, located on Bois D’ Arc Lane, Richmond, Texas to the 2nd Lift Pump Station, located at Dulles Ave. and Ave. E. in Sugar Land, Texas. Target species will be Alligator weed, Smartweed, Primrose, Water Hyacinth, and Water Lettuce. Price is to be determined by cost per mile. The total distance of the proposed jobsite is 43 miles. The total cost includes labor, herbicides, surfactants, drift agents, and follow-up visits as required. All equipment including but not limited to: pumps, trucks, boats, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be provided by the bidder, not GCWA. These services are to be performed for the period from April 4, 2022, through August 31, 2025. |
