Description | Project No: 434.040.21H J.M. Wilkerson Construction has been awarded the Decatur East Phase II project. As of October 13, 2023, the general contractor is working through preconstruction and permitting. The owner is working to finalize the project with the county. Subbidding has been completed. Trades are being awarded. The project consists of new construction of a (5) story multi-family residential building with 80 residential units totalling approximately 82,609 sf. Structure to consist of slab on grade with podium level and 4 levels of wood framed construction above. Scope includes but is not limited to site demo, excavation and shoring as required, site utilities, grading, EC, stormwater piping , new asphalt paving/repairs, new curbing, concrete paving, site hardscapes and landscapes, site retaining walls, wood planters , spread, foundation walls, slab on grade, post-tensioned concrete podium, CMU masonry, brick masonry, structural steel and misc steel, balcony railings, metal stairs, cold formed framing where shown, wood framing/sheathing/trusses, interior millwork and trim at units, public space millwork, waterproofing, insulation, TPO roofing, fiber cement siding, insulation, doors and frames, storefront, vinyl windows, unit and public floor and wall finishes, resilient flooring (IDplans), carpets, drywall/HC, ceilings, interior and exterior painting, aluminum sunshades, pre finished canopies, misc specialties, toilet partitions and bath accessories, electronic package system, postal specialties, closet shelving, residential appliances, unit cabinets/countertops, furnishings, window treatments, lightning protection, elevators, trash chute, plumbing, radon systems, HVAC, Fire Protection, Electrical, FA, with Low Voltage/Security as required per LV plans.
