West Whiteland Road Paving 2022

For 2022 Roadway Paving Project Clarification deadline: 8/31/2022 1:00 PM There will be no pre-bid meeting. All paving work shall be completed by October 31, 2022. Summary of Work: The Work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, furnishing materials, equipment, and labor for constructing the following: 1. Milling of bituminous asphalt to minimum 1 1/2 " inches full width, curb to curb. 2. Paving of Superpave Asphalt Mixture Design, HMA Wearing Course, PG 64-22, < 0.3 Million ESALS, 9.5 mm mix, 1 1/2 " depth, SRL-H, including leveling course and tack coat. 3. Re-establishing pavement markings in accordance with PennDOT Pub 408 (Construction Specifications) and Pub 111 (Pavement Parking and Signing Standards). Bid Bond: Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bid bond, or irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the base bid amount. Non-Collusion Affidavit: Each bid must be accompanied by a completed, signed, and notarized Non Collusion Affidavit Payment Bond: Each bid must be accompanied by proof, from firm qualified to issue bonds in Pennsylvania, that the Contractor will be able to supply a payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount for the term of the award within ten (10) days of the bid award Performance Bond: Each bid must be accompanied by proof, from firm qualified to issue bonds in Pennsylvania, that the Contractor will be able to supply a performance bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount for the term of the award within ten (10) days of the bid award Prevailing Wage is required.
