Description | The Village of Corona, NM located in Lincoln County, will design and construct water system improvements to the existing water transmission system located at Latitude 34.244487, -105.593792 Longitude. The project will improve the community's water system by making a direct connection between the water transmission line and the existing water storage tanks by installing approximately 2,630 LF of 6" water line along NM SR 247, Quintana Avenue and Old Crown Street, per the construction plans, to include all material, labor, joint restraints, fittings, warning tape, tracer wire, trenching, bedding, backfilling and site restoration, and the jack and bore 14" dia. and 1/2" thick steel casing under CR A031, UPRR tracks and US 54, including all material, labor, 6" PVC carrier pipe, end seals, casing spacers, fittings, joint restraints, bore pit excavation, receiving pit excavation, backfill, sheeting, shoring, location and temporary support of existing utilities and other temporary measures as necessary for site protection and restoration including NMDOT and UPRR provisions; install fire hydrants, gate valves, combination air valve, and other related appurtenances; convert an existing altitude control valve to an automatic control valve at the water storage tank site; and remove and replace approximately 120 existing manual read water meters with drive-by remote read ultrasonic water meters, including all labor, materials, installation, removal of existing meter, software for drive by operations, new meter can lid, bluetooth optical head, tough pad and all other appurtenances not separately listed for a complete operations drive by metering system. The Village of Corona will follow the NM Procurement code including all purchases, RFP's, bids, and awards. As of December 18, 2018, Project is included New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration Municipalities FY 2020-2024 CIP. Bidding documents, design team or contractor selection has not been released.
