Description

Union County intends to add onto to the existing Sheriff's office and renovate portions of the existing offices and jail area that may include: Remodel (approximately 8,500 - 17,550 square feet) and construct (approximately 40,000 - 48,000 square feet) addition to the existing Sheriff’s Facilities and plan for a future Jail Expansion. The project would also include renovating the existing Sheriff's office facility with repurposing for jail and storage needs. A secure corridor/connector may be constructed to provide connectivity between existing and future jail and/or office facilities. The selected firm shall provide budget estimates and construction schedules for planning of building and renovation phases, etc. Any renovation and/or construction activities will be required to maintain security for the jail, evidence and staff during these activities.
