Weatherization Retrofit

North Georgia Community Action, lnc., a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, is currently in the process of prequalifying HVAC subcontractors in the counties of Catoosa, Chattooga, Cherokee, Dade, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens, Walker and Whitfield for weatherization related services administered by our organization. As a sub grantee of the Georgia Weatherization Assistance Program, which receives federal and private sector funding, administered by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority, North Georgia Community Action, lnc. has a continuing role to provide weatherization assistance to residential homes of low income families in the North Georgia area. With the projects, subcontracted work may be required to service and/or install heating and air conditioning equipment in residential homes, to perform minor heating and cooling repairs on residential homes, perform minor HVAC upgrades on residential homes, plumbing repairs and install weatherization measures as determined by the weatherization audit.
