| Description | The project is located approximately two miles upstream (north) of the Borough of Honesdale in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. The contract work will consist of the installation of a geosynthetic liner system along the upstream face of the dam and onto its upstream berm. The liner system will be installed below the upstream armoring riprap, in contact with the embankment material and will be 400’ wide, extending from the dam crest, down the entire upstream face of the dam, and approximately 250’ onto the upstream earthen berm. The existing upstream armoring riprap will be removed, stockpiled, and material suitable for reuse will be installed following the liner installation. |
