Pleasure Bay Crossing and Main Pump Station Replacement

Pleasure Bay Crossing and Main Pump Station (MPS) Replacement project. TRWRA Contract 200 entails construction of two new interceptors, a 30-inch diameter Monmouth Beach Interceptor (MBI), a 54-inch diameter Pleasure Bay Interceptor (PBI); and construction of a new 50-mgd MPS with a 36-inch force main extending to the Plant`s existing headworks facility. The project will also entail diverting the Plant`s existing supernatant flow by gravity to the new MPS, as well as demolition of the existing main pump station and supernatant pump station, which will no longer be needed. The Contract will also include the construction of a new Electrical Building and Odor Control System to service the new 50-mgd MPS along with associated site improvements. TRWRA Contract 200 is located in the Boroughs of Oceanport and Monmouth Beach, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
