| Description | The Township of Chester will be accepting bids for the curbside collection of solid waste, bulky waste from all residences and curbside pickup of recyclable items from all residences and all other certain locations in its boundaries pursuant to Uniform Bid Specifications of the Township of Chester. The Township reserves the right to waive minor defects and informalities in any bid and to reject any and all bids or to accept bids that are in the opinion of the Township Council in the best interest of the Township. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C 127. The Township is requesting bids for the collection of Solid Waste, Bulky Waste and Recyclables. The bid calls for two (2) term options of three (3) and five (5) years with sub-options. Bidders must bid on all options and sub-options. Failure to do so will invalidate the bid. The Contract is to commence March 1, 2023 and end either on December 31, 2025 or December 31, 2027, depending on the winning bid. |
