Standby Water Main / Branch Replacement or Construction Above 2 Inches

This contract shall include furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary for the replacement of water mains and appurtenances in the Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) water distribution system. For the purpose of this contract, standby water main replacement work shall be defined as any replacement, repair, relocation, alteration, abandonment, or addition of water mains, valves, service lines larger than 2”, appurtenances, and any other associated device as deemed necessary by GCWW. The location of the work will be at various sites within the distribution system, water treatment plants, pump stations, or storage facilities. All contracts awarded will be of a standby nature and will only be exercised by the City if the City determines there is a need for a Standby Water Main Replacement project.
