| Description | The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish all labor and equipment to provide general pumping services of storm water to include equipment rental, delivery, installation, water removal and equipment removal on a standby basis at the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel and the I-564 Runway Tunnel. The resulting contract will be limited to labor, materials and equipment to provide general pumping services of water to include equipment rental, delivery, installation, water removal and equipment removal on a standby basis. However, VDOT may require year-round service for other failures such as water pipe bursts, pipe failures and power failures.
