Description

1. The Jolly Pond Solid Waste Facility located at 1204 Jolly Pond Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188 (See Attachment A). The Contractor shall coordinate with the County’s Capital Projects Coordinator to develop a schedule for this work. All pavement markings shall be restored to existing conditions. 2. Contractor to mill existing pavement to a depth of 4“. Saw cutting of pavement will occur at all paving joints. 3. Contractor to fine grade base and add stone as necessary to obtain a suitable base. 4. Contractor to place 4” of SM 9.5A asphalt in milled areas. 5. All work and materials are to comply with the most recent edition of the HRPDC. 6. See Attachment A site plan for areas to be milled and paved. 7. All pavement markings and striping are to be restriped in accordance with the current markings and striping. 8. Contractor will coordinate all work schedules with the Capital Projects Coordinator. Work will be scheduled to provide minimal impact to the public’s use of the facility. 9. Contractor to provide traffic control measures as necessary. 10. Costs for minor incidental grading should be incorporated into bid pricing for asphalt.
