Description | CR Number: 2100213 The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) is seeking a qualified Contractor to overhaul four river water motors and four pumps at the New York State Office of General Services River Front Pumping Station located at 1 Quay Street in Albany, NY. The overhaul of river pumps and motors project is a multi-year project that OGS intends to award to one qualified Contractor. The work to be performed under this project and resultant contract would include, but is not limited to, on-site removal and reinstallation of the pumps and motors. The following minimum requirements must be met by each Bidder: Contractor must have the ability to overhaul and repair motors of 500 HP or greater and vertical two-stage pumps rated up to and over 12,000 GPM. Contractor must have been in business of overhauling pumps and/or motors for three years. OR Bidder is to supply information confirming that senior management personnel of Bidder has been actively and normally engaged cumulatively for the Bidder and another firm or firms in which they also served as senior management personnel, for at least the past three years in the overhaul of pumps and motors of similar size and capacity as those covered by this contract. Provided, however, that in the case of the latter situation, the Bidder must have been in business for at least six months. This information will be used to verify attendance and to communicate any changes to the solicitation (addenda). Therefore, it is imperative that the provided information be legible and accurate. Failure to attend the mandatory site visit will result in rejection of the bid.
