Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Hood is issuing a SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) firm fixed price construction contract to perform all work in strict accordance with the contract, the statement of work, and identified drawings to remove exposed rocks from along the airfield fence line next to McChord Airfield on JBLM Military Reservation. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all required licenses and permits to perform construction work on a Federal installation, be properly bonded and insured in accordance with FAR requirements. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The anticipated NAICS code(s) is 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors and standard business size is $16.5 million. All work will be performed within the confines of the JBLM-McChord Military Installation, at Fort Lewis, WA. The Wage Determination: General Decision Number: WA20220013 02/25/2022; State: Washington; Construction Type: Building; County: Pierce County in Washington, will govern work under this contract. The bid guarantee in the amount shall be at least 20% of the bid price or $5,000,000 whichever is less. Performance and payment bonds must equal 100 percent of the original contract price. A tentative organized site visit will be conducted for this procurement on a date to be determined after posting of solicitation. Details of that site visit will be available in the solicitation. Bid opening will be conducted on JULY 13, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. CST please refer to the Solicitation for additional details. Contract performance completion will be 120 days after contract award.
