Description

The work for this project consists of disconnecting the existing heat recovery unit (HRU-1) without damage to the unit or the existing electrical and refrigerant service lines from the existing junction box. The existing HRU-1 unit shall be relocated and mounted on a Contractor poured concrete pad at a location approximately 150’ from the current location. Schedule 40 PVC conduit shall be directionally bored from the existing junction park to the new HRU-1 location and new electrical and refrigerant lines are to be provided and run through the conduit. See Site Plan exhibit drawing M1 for locations and routing of directional boring. All directional boring and necessary bore pits, junctions, etc. shall be done under the observation of the Park archeological compliance individual. The HRU-1 unit shall then be reconnected at the junction box and final requirement of the contract is for the existing HVAC system to be returned to a fully functional system.
