Downtown Streetscape Improvements Project - Phase 2

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** All requests for clarifications of or questions regarding this Invitation to Bid must be made in writing by email to Troy Philpott, Buyer at tpphilpott@salemva.gov and received by 12:00 p.m. on May 24, 202 The work of the Project generally consists of demolition and removal of existing concrete and paver sidewalks and other related site and electrical components, constructing new paver sidewalks with subgrade/sub-base improvements, concrete curb, aggregate base course and asphalt pavement, striping, new/replaced storm drainage, incidental adjustments to water appurtenances, new fire hydrant, site lighting and other related electrical components, landscaping, and other streetscape site features and furnishings, all as shown on the project drawings All requests for clarifications of or questions regarding this Invitation to Bid must be made in writing by email to Troy Philpott, Buyer at tpphilpott@salemva.gov and received by 12:00 p.m. on May 24, 2022. Award will be made in the best interest of the City of Salem, and the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received, and to accept other than the low bid is reserved.
