Mystique Community Ice Center Settling Remediation and Building Improvements - City of Dubuque

Renovation of a stadium in Dubuque, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a stadium. This project provides for funding to hire contractors to address settling happening throughout the Mystique Community Ice Center. The Center is a facility that is owned and currently operated by the City. Settling of the floors has been occurring in numerous areas of the building. Initial settling remediation has been completed. Work would be in the ice area of the Ice Center and other affected areas. This work is to protect this building asset and the schedule of ice users as outlined in agreements with Northern Lights Hockey. This projects supports the City Council priority of implementation of the Schmitt Island Master Plan. This project is in included in the City of Dubuque FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
