Description

The City of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities department operates and maintains 2,300 miles of water mains, 7 pump stations, and 14 tanks. The latest water distribution system master plan was completed in December 2015 and is in need of updating. The purpose of the master plan is to provide long-term guidance, planning and estimated costs for projects within a five-year planning window and for future capital improvement projects for the water distribution system and associated pump stations over a 20-year planning period.
