Five Points Pump Station Improvement

The Project consists of the extension of approximately 6,100 linear feet of gravity sanitary sewers, the installation of 24,300 linear feet of sanitary forcemain, the construction of the Five Points Pump Station and the construction of a new Ivy Hills Pump Station. The project will eliminate three smaller pump stations and allow the conversion of the existing New Middlefield Wastewater Treatment Plant to a sanitary pump station. Doing so will meet an Ohio Environmental Protection Agency directive regarding mass loading limitations while allowing sanitary flows to be diverted from the heavily loaded Struthers Wastewater Treatment Plant to the Boardman Wastewater Treatment Plant.
