176 Lockwood Exclusion/Infestation Control Plan

This work is located at the ground floor level of the building. 1. Install wire mesh at the perimeter of the existing grade beam pile cap as noted on the plan and as indicated by Detail 1. Whereas a 16 galvanized steel wire mesh with a maximum of 1”x1” wire spacing will be secured to the grade beam with a continuous pressure treated 2x4 using ¼” Tapcons 12” O.C. Wire Mesh to be held in place on the ground with CMU blocks 24” O.C. 2. Backfill with #57 Stone to a depth of 6” above the bottom of the grade beam at a portion of the perimeter of the building as indicated on the plan and where there are gaps between the grade beam and the existing grade as necessary. 3. Backfilled stone shall be covered with Pine Straw. 4. Along the entire inside perimeter, seal all wall and ceiling penetrations at the ground floor level of the building by filling steel wool and then sealing with Spray Foam Insulation. This includes all gaps around pipes, ducts, chases or holes in the walls or ceilings as indicated by Details 2 and 3. a. For areas with gaps 2 ½” or greater place steel mesh in the gaps and encapsulate with Spray Foam Insulation.
