Deer Creek State Park Inflatable Water Park Concession

The work consists of to provide: concession services to include an inflatable water park at Deer Creek State Park. The contract resulting from this RFP will be for FIVE (5) years. Question Submission Close Date 11/10/2022 It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible offeror with the highest score justified by the procurement code. The State of Utah Division of State Parks manages 46 state parks offering a variety of recreational and educational opportunities to the public. One way the Division provides recreation services to the public is by contracting with vendors for a service that cannot be adequately provided for by Division personnel. These contracts are often called concession contracts; at its most basic, a concession contract authorizes the vendor to have a physical presence within a state park and provide commercial activities within the boundaries of a state park. Failure to attend the site visit shall result in the disqualification of any bidder that does not have an authorized representative attend the entire duration of the mandatory site visit. This includes not taking calls/text during the site visit. Phones may be used to take pictures. All discussion not related to the site visit must be done after the site visit as to not be a disturbance during the site visit. An attendance log will be maintained including the name of each attendee, the entity the attendee is representing, and the attendees contact information, minutes of the site visit, and copies of any documents distributed by the conducting procurement unit to the attendees and shall be published as an addendum to the solicitation. The State reserves the right to conduct discussions with the Offerors who submit proposals determined to be reasonably susceptible of being selected for award, followed by an opportunity to make best and final offers pursuant to UCA 63G-6a-707.5, but proposals may be accepted without discussions
