| Description | The project work at the Brooklyn Mine will consist of installing run-on controls above Brooklyn mine waste to prevent water infiltration and leaching of metals, reducing the currently unsafe highwall slopes at the Level One Portal, and removing trash from the site. The Brooklyn Mine is located 8 miles northwest of the town of Silverton. The access is along Highway 550 to County Road 14. County Road 14 is a good four wheel drive road. |
