Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this sources sought must be in writing. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Complete responses to this notice shall be in the following format: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone, fax, and email (e) DUNS number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) Type of Large or small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran- Owned Small Business, Women Owned Small Business etc. (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. ************************************************************************************ The USDA-Forest Service, Prescott National Forest has a requirement for a Contractor to furnish a variety of sizes of Corrugated Metal Pipes (CMPs) and Culvert Bands. Project Specifications: All pipes shall comply with the Arizona Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2000, Section 1010 - Drainage Pipe. All metal pipe and metal bands shall be galvanized. All bands shall comply with the Arizona Department of Transportation Standards and be compatible with the appropriate pipe selected. All round pipe size 12" to 48", shall be 14 gauge, 2 2/3 X 1/2-inch corrugation and come in twenty (20) foot lengths. All round pipe size 54" to 96" shall be 14-gauge, 3 X 1 inch corrugation and come in twenty (20) foot lengths. All arch pipe size 17" X 13" to 49" X 33" shall be 14 gauge, 2 2/3 X 1/2-inch corrugation and come in twenty (20) foot lengths. All arch pipe size 57" X 38" to 71" x 47" shall be 12-gauge, 2 2/3 X 1/2-inch corrugation and come in twenty (20) foot lengths.
