Description

Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Lewiston, Maine. Working plans call for the renovation of a industrial development; 560,000-square-foot multi-residential development; office development; and 40,000-square-foot parking garage. The project includes a re-development of a former cotton mill into a mixed-use building for affordable apartments, light industrial and office purposes. The first apartment building, Picker House Building 3 for 74-units is currently in the process of obtain municipal approval and has been submitted for tax credit funding. As of July 15, 2022, the project remaining buildings are in planning. No applications or building permits have been submitted into the City of Lewiston. The developer is act as general contractor. A firm construction timeline has not been set, however, construction is not expected to begin prior to 2023.
