Pavement Improvements

This project will rehabilitate the main access road to the Prison and construct drainage improvements to the perimeter roadway. The main access road will be rehabilitated by reclaiming the existing pavement, then graded and paved. The roadway will also require reconstructing the stone lined slopes and drainage swales with underdrains along the edge of the road. The perimeter road will have a new underdrain and stone lined swale installed, along the cut-side of the roadway. The main access road will need to be completed so that the Prison can continue running under normal day to day operations. Permits and traffic control plans will be required for the project. The awarded Contractor will be required to have all employees working on-site submit to background checks prior to working.
