Description | As of February 09th, 2023, project has not been awarded yet. It is expected to be awarded sometime after Mid-March 2023. The Work to be bid upon is generally described as follows: Approximately 750 linear feet of 8-inch PVC SDR35 gravity sanitary sewer line. Other sanitary sewer components, including five manholes. Approximately 360 linear feet oftrench pavement replacement. Tree removal along a portion ofthe alignment ofthe sanitary sewer line. Construction time limit for the Contract is 60 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion, with alternate construction time limit of 150 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion for Alternate Bid No. 1. A biddermay not withdrawhis bid for aperiod ofninety (90) days afterthe date setforthe opening ofbids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Town of Ceredo in an amount not less than five percent (5%) ofthe base bid Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception ofbids will be returned unopened to the bidders. The Town ofCeredo reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Bidders must comply with the Presidents Executive Order Nos. 11246 and 11375, which prohibit discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI ofthe Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act, Section 3 Segregated Facilities, Section 109 and the Contract Work Hours Standard Act. Bidders must certify that they do not and will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed or national origin. Federal Law prohibits discrimination o the grounds ofrace, color, national origin, religion, age, handicap and sex in this project. Minority firms are particularly encouraged to participate. Prospective Bidders are advised that the contract awarded under this bid is to be funded in whole or in part by the West Virginia Infrastructure & Jobs Development Council and the Town of Ceredo |
