Florida State University Disaster and Debris Removal Services for Florida State University Main Campus

Florida State University (FSU) is seeking contracted services from one or more qualified Respondents to establish contracts for disaster debris removal, reduction, disposal, and other emergency cleanup services following a debrisgenerating event, such as a tropical system or other natural and man-made disasters on the Florida State University campus and Innovation Park, which are both located in Tallahassee, FL, the FSU Coastal and Marine Laboratory which is located in St. Teresa, FL, and the FSU Presidents cottage located in Panacea, FL. The University is seeking to secure the services of an experienced respondent (s) who is capable of efficiently removing large volumes of disaster-generated debris from a large area in a timely and cost-effective manner and lawfully disposing of all debris according to Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regulations. The successful respondent(s) must be capable of assembling, directing, and managing a work force that can successfully complete the debris removal and disposal operations according to all applicable rules and regulations. It is the expectation that the awarded Respondent(s) representative(s) must be physically present at the University's Emergency Operations Center within eight (8) hours after notification of need. Start of services will be within twenty-four (24) hours of issuance of Purchase Order. Selected respondents will be expected to complete services in less than 120 days when possible.
