Furnish and Install a New Pre-Engineered Metal Building with Foundation and Disassemble for Transportation and Re-Assembly an Existing Metal Building

Describes the requirements for the consulting engineering services, supplied by the Contractor to design the preengineered metal building, including but not limited to the following work. 1. The building manufacturer, selected by the Contractor and approved by the Owner, shall engage the services of a Professional Engineer or a Consulting Professional Engineer. Furnish and perform finish work for all cast-in-place concrete surfaces as specified herein, or as directed by the Owner to execute the work in a workmanlike manner. The base concrete for the following conditions shall be finished as follows: 1. Exposed top surface of interior floors and slabs: Wood floated followed by steel trowel by hand, followed by power troweling and application of a curing compound. After curing, apply a liquid sealer/hardener. 2. Exposed sides of foundation walls or grade beams, and Exposed wall faces, interior and exterior slab edges: Form tie ends to be removed and the resulting void patched with cement grout. All form fins to be ground smooth and flush. Exposed surfaces to receive a Rubbed Finish. After curing, apply a liquid sealer/hardener. 3. Stoops, Curbs, Aprons, Walkways, Ramps & Platforms: Wood floated, then steel troweled and finished with a mason finish brush and application of a curing compound. C. All flatwork (floors, platforms, ramps, stoops, aprons, curbs) to receive a coating of curing compound shortly after last finishing pass as per manufacturer's instructions.
