Description | In 2002, MetroLINKand the City partnered on the installation of a compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station at the City's Public Works Facility located at approximately 3635 4th Avenue, Moline, Illinois 61265. The Station equipment has exceeded its useful life and needs replacement. The objective of this project is to upgrade the existing equipment, including compressors, panels, storage spheres, and dispensers underan existing canopy. The site currently supports the City of Molines CNG public works vehicles including those requiredfor snow removal services, and serves as a back-up fueling site for MetroLINK's fleet of 70% CNG buses. It is important that any proposals consider the essential services provided by both entities and the need to continue fueling operations during construction, whetherthrough temporary/portable fueling equipment or other means. The Rock Island County Metropolitan Mass Transit District (MetroLINK) is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms with experience necessary to provide equipment and installation services relative to a CNG Station at the Moline CNG Fueling Station located at approximately 3635 4th Avenue, Moline, Illinois, 61265. MetroLINK will be the procuring agency for the contract award. All requirements of the Request for Proposals solicitation (RFP 2022 CNG-01) package will apply to this Proposal package, including but not limited to issued Addenda, EEO and good faith efforts to meet the MetroLINK DBE Goal of 3.05% for the overall project. The project may be funded with financial assistance contracts between MetroLINK (and the United States Department of Transportation) and the Illinois Department of Transportation. Therefore, all Bidders will be required to certify compliance with applicable Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to third-party procurements. Proposals will be reviewed separately by a MetroLINK and City of Moline Proposal Evaluation Committee , in accordance with the procedures noted in the RFP solicitation package. |
