Denbigh Boulevard Sidewalk (Woodside Lane to Old Denbigh Boulevard) BPSP - City of Newport News

The Department of Engineering has secured a Bike & Pedestrian Safety Program (BPSP) grant to install new sidewalks, crosswalks, and pedestrian signals. This project will include the construction sidewalk along Denbigh Boulevard from Woodside Lane to Old Denbigh Boulevard including Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps. This project is in included in the City of Newport News FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of March 15, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
