Description | Key Construction will be providing a bid on the Vinita Library Project. This project will be competitively bid. Project will consist mainly of the interior renovation of the existing library. Exterior work consists of demolition and concrete paving. Alternates Include: Alt 1.1 - Updated Ceiling Conditions for General Library Areas Alt 1.2 - Updated Ceiling Conditions for Back of House Alt 1.3 - Historical Document Room Entrance Alt 2.1 - Study Rooms Alt 3.1 - West Vestibule with Canopy Alt 4.1 - Sidewalk and Ramp for Patio Please contact me with any questions. The project consists of the Design-Bid-Build of a two-story commercial building in the City of Vinita, Oklahoma on an existing property on the intersection of West Illinois Avenue & South Thompson Street, on the parcels 285/150 block 50, lots1-3. The project consists of base bids with additive alternatives. The public assembly building whose occupancy is soley for the use of a library and museum. The areas of teh building used for museum purposes are not in the scope of this project except for the museum's main entrance to address ADA accessibilty. Within this building will host a variety of types of uses; on the first floor they are primarily described as a public reception desk, lobby area, hallways, vestibules, library stacks, library reading areas, computer stations, study rooms, offices, break rooms, reading areas, break rooms, restrooms, community room, utility & storage closets; on the second floor it consists soley of a storage room. On the site there are existing plantings and ground covered areas, trees, monuments, sidewalks, parking, and patios. Modifications of the site to include signage, ADA sidewalks, paved outdoor circulation areas, and ADA ramps. Selective demolition will occur on the existing site and building to preapre for renovations and the facility will be occupied by the owner during construction. |
