Description

Owner Project No. GPSD 2615 The proposed improvements consist of repairing a section of the levee along Kickapoo Creek that protects the drying beds. The levee section that is being repaired was damaged during he 2019 flooding along Kickapoo Creek and the Illinois River. The repair limits begin at GPSD's bridge across Kickapoo Creek and extend downstream approximately 1,250 FT. The improvements include clearing, earth excavation, embankment, armoring the embankment, top soil, seeding, and erosion control blanket.
