Moratorium Area Improvements Project - 30-Inch Parallel Mainline Intake to Highway 12/83

WEB Water Development Association, Inc. (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: MORATORIUM AREA IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT: 30-INCH PARALLEL MAINLINE INTAKE TO HWY 12/83 CONTRACT 2020-2 The Project includes the following Work: Constructing approximately 3.4 miles of new raw water pipeline connecting and parallel to WEB Water's existing raw water transmission pipeline in between the Intake and Water Treatment Plant and approximately 10.5 miles of new pipeline connecting and parallel to WEB Water's existing potable water main transmission pipeline in between the Water Treatment Plant and the intersection of SD Hwy 12 and SD Hwy 83. The project consists of 2 Ductile Iron Pipe segments of 30-inch diameter 150 psi to 250 psi pressure class and appurtenances as required by the Project Drawings, Specifications, and Contract Documents. The project is located in Walworth County of South Dakota. Bids are requested for the following Contract: MORATORIUM AREA IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT: 30-INCH PARALLEL MAINLINE INTAKE TO HWY 12/83, CONTRACT 2020-2 Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. Award, if made, shall be to the responsible Bidder whose Bid, conforming with all the material terms and conditions of the advertisement for Bids, is lowest. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
