Scattered Sites South Side Exterior Renovations Project

The work is separated into two prime contracts; General Construction and Electrical Construction. The scope of work consists of the following: Roofs - Demo existing shingle roofs, felt paper, drip edge and damaged sheathing. Sheathing replacement unit price and quantity in bid. Construct new overhangs on building gables and replace gable vents. Reconfigure eave overhang to create a 6 fascia. New architectural shingle roofs, new felt paper, new ice shield (at gutter lines), new drip edge and gutter apron, new ridge vent, new gutters and downspouts. Paint exterior portion of furnace stacks starting just below the roofline. Replace roof penetration boots and rain rings (furnace and plumbing stacks). Walls - Remove and replace existing siding and soffit and facia. Install new windows, exterior entrance doors and storm doors. Clean and paint mechanical room doors and replace vents in the doors, clean, repair and seal existing brick. Replace dryer vent pipes/PVC vent, repair and paint existing PVC downspouts. Porches- Front Porches - demo and replace front concrete patios, saw cut front porch at wall, new 12W x 6D Front Porch, poured flush with front door (F.F.E.), add gabled roof front porch for each unit w/ MDO ceilings. Rear Porches - Add overhangs and replace porch ceiling w/ new MDO, clean and paint existing columns (concrete will remain). Electric/Telephone/Cable -Remove and replace porch lights and wall packs with photo cells, paint exterior breaker boxes, fix cable and phone lines on exterior of buildings. Tree and stump removal around units 20A, 21B, 31A, 31B, 32A and 33B, demo and replace the following site concrete features, existing sidewalks and replace rear mechanical slab, construct new sidewalk with integral curb at street. Demo close lines and asphalt below close lines. Import topsoil and regrade site to drain positively away from the buildings and tie-in to new sidewalks and porches. Reset splash blocks for drainage and replace missing or damaged at downspouts. Attic Stock Extra Materials - Entrance (2) right and left, storm door (2) right and left, screens (2) per window type, porch light (2), wall packs (2).
