Description | Scope #1: 036000 - Grouting of Architectural Precast, Hollowcore, and Column Base Plates. Scope #2: 072500, 074100, & 074213 - Metal Wall Panels Package including Z-Girts, Plywood, & Weather Barrier. Scope #3: 328400 - Planting Irrigation. Subcontractors, at their discretion, may combine multiple bid packages into one package. All Subcontractors and Material Suppliers will be required to provide a dual obligee Payment and Performance bond, for the former, and a dual obligee Supply Bond, for the latter, listing MCL and Gretna Public Schools as obligees. No bidder shall withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bids will be evaluated based on the lowest responsible bidder which shall mean financial responsibility, the general ability and capacity of the bidder to perform the work, the bidder's facilities and suitability for the task, and those qualities which the bidder must necessarily have in order to perform the contract strictly in accordance with its terms. Time is of the essence for this project and bids will not be considered if the contractor cannot meet the construction schedule as provided. MCL reserves the right to reject any, and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and to award the contract in the best interest of the owner. *Please note that the listed value reflects the entire scope of work. |
