HVAC Renovations at Glenwood Avenue Elementary School

The Base Bid work at Rooms 101, 102, 104, 105, 220, 221, 222 & 223 consists of but is not limited to the following: Disconnect and remove existing HVAC unit power wiring, conduit, disconnect switch, etc., back to source. Existing ceiling tiles in this room to be removed and reinstalled to accommodate mechanical equipment and ductwork installation. Contractor shall remove, reinstall, or relocate existing electrical devices, wiring, etc. to reinstalled ceiling tiles. Extend all wiring and conduit, as required, for a complete and operational installation. Existing lighting fixture(s) to be disconnected, removed, and reinstalled, relocated to the ceiling, as required, for the installation of new ductwork. Extend all wiring and conduit, as required, for a complete and operational installation. Typical for all. Existing ceiling mounted fire alarm device(s) to be disconnected, removed, reinstalled or relocated to the ceiling, as required, for the installation of new ductwork. Extend all wiring and conduit, as required, for a complete and operational installation. The modified fire alarm system shall pass a 100% re-acceptance test with the local fire marshal. Existing ceiling mounted short throw projector and associated power / low-voltage wiring to be disconnected, removed, and reinstalled on ceiling, as required, for the installation of new ductwork. Extend all wiring and conduit, as required, for a complete and operational installation. Existing ceiling mounted wi-fi router to be disconnected, removed, reinstalled or relocated to ceiling, as required, for the installation of new ductwork. Extend all wiring and conduit, as required, for a complete and operational installation. Existing ceiling mounted speaker(s) to be disconnected, removed, relocated or relocated to the reinstalled ceiling. Extend all wiring and conduit, as required, for a complete and operational installation. Typical for all. Wiremold raceway, receptacle, and/or tele/data outlet to be relocated, as required, to accommodate installation of new unit ventilator cabinet. Extend all wiring and conduit, as required, for a complete and operational installation. Conduit(s) and power wiring to existing unit ventilator to be disconnected, removed and replaced with new. Field verify prior to demolition. Refer to mechanical equipment coordination schedule and panel schedules for new equipment conduit and wire sizes. Remove existing unit ventilator louver. Install new cavity insulation to match existing in thickness. Blank off back of existing louver and re-install in existing opening. Infill masonry opening on room side with cmu to match existing in thickness. Paint to match adjacent wall color. Install new rubber base on wall to match existing.
