Description

1. Schedule site visits and tasks of this specification to assure efficient and orderly sequence of work. 2. Recognize that the work involves working at operating educational facilities; do not interrupt services to facilities without specific written notice to the Owner’s representative, including but not limited to domestic hot water, domestic cold water, electrical power, or electrical circuits other than those of equipment being serviced within the scope of work. 3. Do not cause disruption to ongoing programs within facilities, including but not limited to excessive noise, unauthorized presences within the building proper, improper parking, blocking of fire/emergency personnel, access, or storage of work materials/goods outside of the equipment room 4. All work must be performed with proper safety precautions. File a safety procedure for all phases of the project as part of proposal; include fire safety data and smoke removal procedures for welding and demolition processes. 5. Following notice of award, a project start up meeting will be held. Meeting will include contract execution, submission of insurance certificates, and review of procedures for project field decisions, applications for payments and general scheduling criteria. 6. The Contractor will monitor quality control of manufacturers, products, suppliers, and workmanship to assure project execution and the highest quality of work.
