Your firm is invited to submit an offer under seal to MCHA for replacement of paving, fencing, mailboxes and drainage work located at: Site 47-10 (504-510 South St., 307-311 Fillmore St., 503-511 Gillespie St., and 304 & 206 High Street) Site 47-14 (308-322 East Oak St.) Gillespie, Illinois 62014 Replace concrete paving, culverts, dumpster corrals, sidewalks and mailboxes at two sites in Gillespie, IL. Include expansion paving, concrete pads and posts for clothesline, tactile warnings, parking stripes and bumpers as shown, and landscape work to include rip-rap, topsoil, seeding and trees planting and removal. Bidders will be required to provide bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount, payable to the Macoupin County Housing Authority. Successful Bidders will be required to provide Surety Performance Bond and Labor Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100 percent of the contract price, within 10 days after notice of acceptance by Owner. Surety on bonds shall be a duly authorized company acceptable to the Owner. Bidders will be required to be an EPA Certified Renovator to begin work. Bids shall include not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate as determined by the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Act. K. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers. No Bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening of bids without written consent of the Owner. |
