Town Hall Front Door Replacement

1. Remove existing interior and exterior storefront frames and install new bronzed anodized finished aluminum frames, approximately 136” x 202” with peaked top and both vertical and horizontal mullions. 2. Exterior to have 1” low-e/argon sealed and tempered insulated glass, and interior glass shall be a minimum of ¼” single pane tempered glass. 3. Doorway shall be impaired/handicapped accessible automatic bi-part sliding doors, with all supporting electrical work to code. Electrical service expected to run from basement into nearby small courtroom, then over ceiling tiles. Each doorway (sliding and interior) must have separate manually locking keyed access mechanisms operating on different keying patterns. 4. Exterior and interior finishes and EIFS to be removed and replaced as needed, and EIFS in vestibule area to be removed and permanently replaced with approximately 200 SF of finished drywall. Contractor may need to fir rafters down after removing EIFS foam and possibly add insulation to ceiling rafters. Interior finish is 5/8” drywall, taped and beaded, and primed and painted to match wall color in area. It is estimated that, in addition, total hallway drywall replacement and finishing may be approximately 11 SF, for total estimated drywall work at 211 SF. All bids shall include floor and ceiling repairs, and site clean-up.
