Description

The Deadline for questions is scheduled for July 6, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. CST. It is understood and agreed that the work is to be substantially completed on or before 365 calendar days. This project does not include hazardous environmental work. This project requires 0 project signs per task order. The City of San Antonio point of contact for this solicitation is Melissa Ortega. Questions are to be submitted in writing in the Questions and Answers section electronically The following documents constitute the required information to be submitted as a part of the bid proposal and are required uploads Contract Signature Page Subcontractor/Supplier Commitment Form Bid Bond Form 1295 with Certification Number & Date Filed Project construction may include but is not limited to: asphalt milling and overlay, seal coat, base and pavement replacement, cleaning and sealing joints and cracks, curb ramps, concrete curbs, sidewalks, driveways, concrete retaining walls-combination type, speed humps, topsoil, sodding, signage, pavement markings installation, adjusting existing valve boxes, meter boxes and manholes, and any other items required due to the site conditions to accomplish the project scope. This task order construction contract start shall begin within thirty (30) calendar days of the executed contract or issuance of the first task order, whichever comes first. The contract shall be terminated three hundred and sixty-five (365) calendar days from the start of the contract. The construction time (in calendar days) for each individual site will be negotiated between the City Engineer or Project Manager and the Contractor. The Contractor may also be limited to the amount of individual project sites open at any given time based on performance or available resources. Liquidated damages for construction time will be assessed on a per site basis should the Contractor fail to complete the construction in the specified calendar days as negotiated by the City Engineer or Project Manager. The Contractor shall refer to section 4.2.6 of the general conditions for claims for additional contract time due to inclement weather.
