Description

B and O Trail Phase 5B Located along former B&O Railroad Corridor From CR250E to CR 500E in Hendricks County, Indiana The proposed construction will consist of: Shared-Use Trail Construction and Associated Work as more fully set forth in the Plans and Specifications. The work shall be performed in accordance with the provisions of this Notice, the General and Special Provisions, the Contract, and the Plans and Specifications for this project. The bid shall include the furnishing of all materials, equipment, and labor as indicated in the Specifications. Any and all permits are to be procured by the successful bidder. All bids shall be properly and completely executed on the forms as required by the Contract documents and will include the Non-Collusion Affidavit as required by the statutes of the State of Indiana. Each bid shall be accompanied by the deposit of an acceptable certified check or cashier's check payable to the B&O Trail Association Inc. or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond with good and sufficient surety in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid; a payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid; a maintenance bond for a period of one (1) year after completion of the project equal to twenty percent (20%) of the bid; and proof of insurance as specified in the General Provisions. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of the bids. The B&O Trail Association Inc. reserves the right to reject any/or all of the bids and/or waive any formalities or irregularities in the bidding.
