| Description | The intent of this project is to reconstruct the internal components of existing reed beds at the wastewater treatment plant.The project will include the removal of the existing components of the reed beds which is to include the reeds, sand, gravel, geotextile liner, troughs, and piping. This material is to be landfilled. The project shall be to replace all of the components as specified in the contract documents. 1. The contractor shall work with the Owner to have the reed beds replanted. 2. The contractor shall work with the American Green Corporation to have the sludge material which is removed from the reed beds sent for land application. Any material not acceptable for land application shall be landfilled. |
