Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for the construction of improvements along the Zapata Falls road, located entirely on BLM land in the San Luis Field Office. Zapata Road starts off State Highway 150, in Alamosa County, approximately 30 miles east and north from the town of Alamosa, Colorado. The project work consists of but is not limited to road reconstruction as shown on the design plans including construction of realigned road segments with associated obliteration of abandoned segments, culvert replacement, crushed and stabilized road base, chip seal, cattleguard replacement, road and ditch cross-section reconstruction. Improvements include any necessary work such as mobilization, construction staking Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) preparation and implementation, traffic controls.
