Description | MEDOT PROJECT NO. 02477(100)/ 24771.00 Questions regarding any of the above items may be referred to Ted Trembley, City of Bangor Engineering Dept., at 207-992-4251 or e-mail ted.trembley@bangormaine.gov Specifications may be obtained at the Engineering Department, City Hall, 73 Harlow Street, Bangor, Maine 04401, for a one hundred dollar ($100.00) charge. If plans need to mailed, a additional fee of $40.00 will be charged. The project includes constructing a portion of new 10' wide trail along the Bangor Waterfront along with a new access parking area off from Dutton Street behind the Geaghan's Brewery. Part of the project will include the construction of a 650 sf underdrain soil filter pond and 800 sf bioretention cell to treat the new impervious area, new lighting, landscaping, benches, along with other incidental work. The Riverfront Trail Extension Project is a Maine Federal Aid Project No. 2477100, MeDOT WIN 024771.00, located just south of Dutton Street along the Penobscot River. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid price will be required in the form of cash, a certified check or bid bond. This project is subject to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wage Rate Determination. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids or to waive informalities or defects in bids if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Bangor. Bases of award of Contract is determined by the lowest qualified bidder. The lowest bidder must have successfully completed a Highway, or project specific prequalification for Bangor to be considered for the award of this contract.
