StoneRidge Water line at Hwy 69 Project - City of Prescott Valley

This project entails waterline replacement at State Route 69 at StoneRidge and includes replacement of approximately 1,000feet of PVC C900 water piping. This will minimize water outages to commercial customers. The current water pipe has failed in the past due to age and has become brittle and susceptible to stress cracks. In addition, the pipe is installed very deep which complicates and slows the repair process. As of August 23, 2022, this project is included in the City of Prescott Valley FY 2022-2027 Budget CIP. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed.
