Affton High School Stadium Fence Replacement

DEMOLITION • Remove all chain link fence, hardware, post and any post anchoring material highlighted in RED on attached demo plan. • Remove all chain link fence, hardware, and post caps highlighted in YELLOW on attached demo plan. • Patch all holes in grass from removed fence posts that are not scheduled to receive a new fence post with compacted clean soil and grass seed. Patch all holes in asphalt/ concrete from removed fence posts that are not scheduled to receive a new fence post with compacted rock and at least 4" of asphalt/ concrete. • Remove (2) existing foul poles located on the baseball outfield highlighted in BLUE on attached plan. • Cut flush with concrete and grind smooth and free of sharp edges all posts embedded in retaining wall located on along the North side of the baseball outfield. • Owner will provide containers for all metal waste. INSTALLATION • Install new 6' tall 8 gauge black vinyl coated chain link fence in all areas highlighted in YELLOW per attached plan. • Install new 4' tall 8 gauge black vinyl coated chain link fence in all areas highlighted in BLUE per attached plan. • Install of 12' tall 8 gauge vinyl coated chain link fence in all areas highlighted in PURPLE per attached plan. Angle section of fence that terminates at lower fence. • Paint existing posts in area highlighted RED per attached plan with no less than (2) coats (roll on) with an exterior oil based gloss black paint. • Install new 8 gauge black vinyl coated chain link fence in area highlighted RED per attached plan. Contractor to verify height. • Install new gates in areas highlighted GREEN per attached plan. Contractor to verify dimensions. Install (2) new 4' wide gates located on the new center field fence highlighted in GREEN per attached plan. • Install (2) new yellow 15' tall foul poles located on baseball field highlighted in BLACK per attached plan. • Install new yellow Poly Cap fence guard along the top of outfield fence sections located on the baseball field from the left field foul pole to the right field foul pole. • Connect new fencing to all perpendicular neighbor fences along property line.
