Description

The replacement of the existing Cuttyhunk Island Wellfield, modifications to the existing Cuttyhunk Island Wellfield Pump Station, and modifications to the Cuttyhunk Island Water Storage Tank site. The project also includes the replacement of approximately 2,900 linear feet of 6” existing asbestos cement (AC) water main with new 6” polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe and the rehabilitation of approximately 1,650 linear feet of existing 6” asbestos cement water main with structural liner. Bid Alternates for this project include the installation of up to approximately 5,425 linear feet of 6” PVC water main, the installation of approximately 2,090 linear feet of underground electrical conduits and associated handholes, and pavement overlay of disturbed roads.
