Description | It is the intent of the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, (WSSC) to contract with a Contractor to assess the impact of pressure transients on the water network. This assessment is to monitor the occurrence of pressure transients and to validate the overall risks due to transients. Further, the purpose is to assess data and recommendations on minimizing these risks; and, if possible, eliminate these risks. Through this process, it is planned that the data and analysis provided will yield specific information on the nature and occurrence of pressure transients; both high and low pressure events; and the magnitude of these events as a definitive risk to the health of the pipeline segments. Questions/Inquiries: Due by 12:00:00 pm, Friday, April 7, 2023 via Online Discussion but it is encouraged to submit as early as possible to receive responses in a timely manner. |
